Blacksheepdesign is a full-service creative agency, doing good things for nice people all over the place. The flock is on the lookout for a Digital Designer to work within our web and design departments, helping craft high quality, creative designs across a range of digital mediums. Our team covers design, marketing and communications, and web development, with project and office managers keeping everything (and everyone) running smoothly. Our clients include homegrown talent, national organisations and international brands.
The Digital Designer will be responsible for creating concepts, and from this suitable visual executions, for all our outputs, but primarily web based solutions. This spans designing unique and memorable brand concepts for our clients, websites, web application interfaces, and campaign collateral. With an eye for clean design and superior UI skills, the Digital Designer will translate high level client requirements into practical creative concepts.
We’re after someone who fits with the flock, is packed full of creative ideas and a strong knowledge of UX, digital and graphic design, which can elevate our clients' brands and products across the digital space. Is this you? Well take a look at these must-haves:
You’ll be creative and have a natural ability to think outside the box for clients in diverse industries
You have experience working in a fast paced creative environment, 3+ years
You’ll be plugged into the latest trends and always looking for ways to push the boundaries of digital and traditional channels
Did we mention a great eye for detail in design? Quality control is a massive part of the role, making sure each piece of your work that leaves the office is perfect in every aspect
Ability to see problems from a user perspective and an understanding of current web-design & user experience principles
Experience working with Adobe XD (or similar) and Adobe Creative Cloud apps such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
You’ll have solid experience working in an office/agency environment and/or have a relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent life experience).
